V Vebloom
Privacy Policy

Quiet software should behave like quiet software.

This policy is written to match how Vebloom is actually built: local-first, intentionally small, and designed to ask for as little information as possible.

This page explains what Vebloom stores, what it does not collect, and how optional integrations such as HealthKit work.

1. What Vebloom is

Vebloom is a free, offline-first iPhone app for sleep ritual, recovery, and quiet reflection. The app is designed to work without requiring an account or backend service for the core experience.

2. Information we do not collect

Vebloom does not require you to create an account and does not intentionally collect personal information through a signup flow.

  • No account registration
  • No analytics SDK for user profiling
  • No advertising identifiers
  • No server-side behavioral tracking for the core app experience

3. Data stored on your device

Vebloom may store sleep-related records locally on your device so the app can provide the product experience. This can include bedtime, wake time, duration, rhythm-related calculations, and locally generated recovery insights.

This information is intended to remain on your device unless you explicitly choose to export it.

4. HealthKit

Vebloom can optionally read and write sleep-related information through Apple HealthKit if you grant permission. HealthKit access is optional.

  • If you do not grant HealthKit access, Vebloom still works.
  • If you do grant access, the app may import or write sleep records to improve continuity and usefulness.
  • Health data permissions are managed by Apple through system settings.

5. Export and restore

Vebloom may allow you to export your data as a local file and later restore it. Export and restore actions are initiated by you. Vebloom does not use export as a cloud sync feature.

6. Support communications

If you contact Vebloom for support, the information you choose to provide in your email or message may be used to respond to your request and improve user support. Please avoid sending sensitive health information unless necessary for support.

7. Data security

Vebloom aims to minimize data exposure by keeping the core experience local-first. However, no device or software environment can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for device-level protections such as passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.

8. Children’s privacy

Vebloom is not designed specifically for children. If you believe a child has provided information through support communications, contact us and we will review the request.

9. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time as the app evolves. The latest version will be made available on this page with an updated effective date.
